Documentary report on fire drill of Zhongtong Steel Structure Office Building
At 9:25 on November 9th, 2018, with the sound of the alarm, all the staff of Zhongtong Steel's office building were covered in smoky corridors, using wet towels to cover their nose and mouth, and walking up the stairs to walk away. This scene is a true portrayal of the fire emergency evacuation drill of the Zhongtong Steel Structure Office Building in 2018.
In order to strengthen the fire management of the company's office building area and improve the knowledge and skills of all employees' fire emergency evacuation, the company's Quality and Safety Department jointly organized the fire evacuation drill activity, and all employees of the office building participated in the exercise. Below I will restore the bit by bit of this exercise and reproduce the process of the exercise.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, all the staff of the office building gathered this fire drill mobilization training meeting in the company square. Gao Shaoning of the Quality and Safety Department introduced the purpose and program of the event. The quality and safety department Zhao Wei explained the use method and building of the dry powder fire extinguisher. Escape skills, the general commander of the exercise, Wang Qingjie, made a mobilization speech.
At 9:25, the smoke bombs on the fourth and fifth floors were pulled apart, and there was a smog between the corridors. General Manager Li Chao tried to use a fire extinguisher to put out the fire and found that after the fire could not be controlled, the general commander was reported. The general commander issued a fire emergency evacuation order. At 9:26, the alarm sounded and the fire evacuation drill of the Zhongtong Steel Structure Office Building officially kicked off. Workers on all floors are evacuated according to the escape route. During the escape process, wet towels are used to cover the nose and mouth, to prevent suffocation of smoke, and the walking stairs are bent and walked away. Finally, the department gathers at the door of the company and lists the number of people. The entire evacuation process was orderly, with no casualties, no staff staying, and it took 2 minutes and 18 seconds to complete the established goals and requirements of the exercise.
After the gathering of personnel, the general commander of the exercise, Wang Qingjie, made a summary review of the drill, fully affirmed the good results of the exercise, praised the departments and personnel who performed well in the process, and corrected some problems exposed during the exercise. The fire management work was requested. Finally, it was announced that the exercise was over and all the staff returned to work.
Organizing fire drills can not only enable employees to master the knowledge of fire fighting and self-rescue escape skills, but also effectively enhance the company's emergency response capability and collective cohesiveness in the face of emergencies. It is an important part of the company's safety culture. The Quality and Safety Department will also organize relevant fire drill activities every year to gradually improve the fire management level and escort the company's long-term development.
